|A new apron made from a vintage dress|
This year has brought a lot of changes here at Jen-A-Fusion! I've been focused on other things that have kept me away from this blog. I've moved a studio twice. YES, twice! So, there has been a lot of boxing fabric, moving fabric and getting rid of fabric. And, still, I have ton of fabric.
I'm on the other side of the moves and continue to shift fabric around. I have finally been able to get to back to *working* with the fabric too! All that moving allowed me to rediscover a lot of material I didn't remember I had. How wonderful, right? Like shopping in my own stash. :)
Which made me excited, because I will be at my first outside show of the year, next weekend. I will have a new crop of aprons, purses and little bags to show off.
What: Greenbelt Green Man Festival
When: Saturday, May 10, 10am-6pm AND Sunday, May 11, 11am-5pm
Where: Roosevelt Center, Greenbelt, MD
Website: www.greenbeltgreenmanfestival.org and Facebook Event Here
The Green Man Festival is a celebration of spring, community and the earth. There are great kids' activities, music and lots of talented artists and vendors. Come and experience it for yourself!
If you aren't able to make it to Greenbelt, perhaps stop by my studio in the Torpedo Factory. I'm located on the 3rd floor, studio 320. My studio mate is a weaver with a large loom and abstract wall hangings. They are worth a look too!
Hope the new season has treated you well and that there are bright flowers in your life! ~Jen
