First Sunday Arts Festival

Two of the kinetic sculptures at the Trenton Avenue Arts Festival, May 17, 2008, Philadelphia, PA. Funnnnn!

Summertime living...a cool drink by the water...a relaxing meal at a cafe...casually strolling around town....all in Annapolis!

That, plus, talented local artists and various musicians all in a quaint small town setting. This coming Sunday will be my return to the First Sunday Arts Festival, which I am looking forward to. We are wishing for the best weather, but don't always know what to expect at this time of year... So, here are the stats...

What: First Sunday Arts Festival

When: Sunday, June 1, noon to 5pm

Where: West Street, Annapolis, between Church Circle and Calvert Street

Who: Me, you and a long list of fun others, including my good friend, Jewelry artist Leah Sturgis

Website: www.goweststreet.com

**UPDATE** Saturday, May 31~ Weather is calling for severe thunderstorms, with possible hail this afternoon, so I won't be there... sorry!
Also, if the weather is good, I'll be at the Western Market on Saturday, May 31. Info:

What: Western Market
Where: 18th Street in Adams Morgan, in front of the Marie Reed Community Center
When: Saturday, May 31, noon until dusk
Website: www.dcwesternmarket.com

I've been working a ton on some really great new bags- bright yellows, mellow greens and fun turquoise are all gorgeous! Come check them out this weekend and I'll see you there~Jen

Green Tip~Scan instead of copying.

I often want to have a record of things I have to mail off, such as bills, applications, or other documents. However, I don't have the space to store these copies, or even the time to file them. Plus, the paper, ink and energy is mostly wasted, as I don't usually need the copies again. So, I scan the documents now. I still have a record of the information, which I can view at anytime, or print out if needed, but it doesn't create waste.
